The silent independent minority will determine how the world is shaped or mishaped over the next four years.  They are the key voting block that will determine the next president of the United States. The silent independent minority consists of moderate Joe Lieberman-type democrats leaning heavily for McCain, right wing moderates and traditional independents. The Republican braintrust simply MUST get strategic in this all-important, America-saving election and make the far right-wing of the party understand how to ween this pivotal voting block.  As a former democrat living in Los Angeles, I know how they think and I know how to talk to them.
